Marilyn Carry is a girl who literally went from rags to riches, and is a tough gal because of it. She claims to be proud of her upbringing and how she only feels truly alive when she is fighting, but this is a facade. She holds onto a childhood promise that forces her to keep fighting, despite her actual distaste for the act.
When Marilyn Carry was a little girl, her mama died in a civil war that claimed the lives of many that lived in their area. Her father then became a member of the guerilla resistance trying to free their people from oppression. His teammates, all of whom cherished little Marilyn as if she were their own daughter, became surrogate parents in place of the mother.
At first, the father tried to get Marilyn to learn how to fight, in case she ever needed to, but she resisted. Once, as a ruse, (when Marilyn was 7 years old) as her father and four team mates went out to fight, they said. "We're going out Marilyn, we will only come back when you're a great fighter." They meant this is gest, but fate didn't take it as a joke. Marilyn's father came back alone...with noone. And the little girl saw this as a result of her not being a good fighter. Unable to accept their deaths, Marilyn began to train herself to be the best fighter ever, despite her father's plea's otherwise.
While he gathered new troops to fight the war, Marilyn went out and fought and fought and fought, not only becoming a great fighter, but learning about internal powers she had some how come to possess. She ALSO learned about orphans who had their own abilities, who were left to die on the streets in this unforgiving war. Marilyn took these waifs under her arm and gave them a purpose and a reason to live. She trained them to be great fighters and to use their hidden powers. To these four children, Marilyn became THEIR surrogate mother, and almost like a goddess to them.
Marilyn has continued to grow and to improve...her main reasons for fighting villains are to improve her fighting skills and to deflate the egos of overconfident idiots. She is someone who is comfortable both in High Society or in the battle field trenches.
Strengths: Strong willed, good leader, tactician, patient
Weaknesses: refuses to accept her 'uncles deaths' - fights with the hope that by becoming the greatest heroine, they shall return; also has a thing for soft cute girls and can be easily tricked by them. Dependents - father.
Powers: Can turn one second of time into ten seconds for herself - meaning she can move much faster than her opponent. Another power - she can double her attack and defense power for two minutes...but when she activates this, a time apears on her neck and when she uses up the time, it drains ALL her energy. She is also a DAMN good guerilla fighter.
