Well, maybe the admins will rearrange the boards on this site so that the RPs and general chatting that isn't covered by the DRP boards can be covered in more detail here, that way it'll be like just joining the two sites together.

Ok here is the status on DRP, all rage need to do is transfer the domain name over and I cna get it up in 15 minutes. The old host, ulmb, got hacked and we lost that account so we needed a new host. However the domain was registered elsewhere so we still have that.
Also VS is going to die, not trying to be mean or anything. But you know that all free forum sites are all against adult content. So we are already playing it close, aka no porno, no porno links, and get rid of the taboo section. If that happens then VS will always be here.

Well, wee can do all that and just keep it as a place of refuge where we can still converse and socialize if DRP ever goes down again. I'm sure i speak for all of us when I say thanks for the update ^^

Hah, agreed. I used to be a global mod over there and I was one that was on every day and went pron bot hunting, then out of the blue I was kicked off and replaced with someone that was hardly ever online @@;;;

Anyway, there are free adult forum hosting sites that you can find with a bit of googling, but most people tend to put up free forums without reading their hosts' Terms Of Service agreements first -so their boards end up biting the dust.

I think the problem with most free adult forums is that they shove advertising down your throat every way they can -interstatial ads, those word-link ads that are annoying, message ads breaking up threads, that sort of thing. So unless you pay for your own hosting, you end up with a choice of two evils (a short life or a crappy site so filled with ads RP is not possible).

I like this board, hopefully if nothing else it can be used as a 'hub' to keep the DRP community together -if the admins start getting heat from the hosting provider they could always restrict RP to PG-13 RPs for the sake of keeping the doors open so that the refugees from DRP have a way to keep in touch (and keep their writing skills sharp).

tl;dr -this site is great, it can live though the adult RP aspect may have to be toned down.

I had to click around until I found a "resend activation email" button/link which finally did the trick.
