The Consumed (part 2)

"No, alphas are leaders like the lead female and male of the pack. And I'm wanting to get out of here by morning atleast." She looked at him closely as if sensing something about him was off. "Why do you think that alphas dealth with slavary?"

"it's just the control factor," he says and stands up and heads outside. he returns with the leash and then unlocks the collar from around her neck. "and i have the feeling that we won't be leaving so easily." he whispers into her would be ear, knowing that if he doesn't that any canine nearby would easily hear what he just said. he sits back and tucks the collar and leash into his satchel.

Sighing she got up and walked out of the hut. She looked around seeing everyone was doing fine but sh elooked back at Iku and walked to the outter limits of Kenbank. She didn't understand why he was so careful around creatures who were being hunted down as well. Sighing she sat down in the grass looking around ahead of her.

"we swim, we swim, we dive, we dive," he sings to himself the small mantra that keeps his mind as calm as dead water. he feels the pattering of feet nearby that are headed to the same direction as tia and quickly stands up. he grabs the belt filled with vials of water and keeps his dagger at hand before following the pair of feet heading out to his crush.

Feeling the viberations in the earth she turned around to have a small group of children pounce on her. Laughing as they smiled and took off running. Smiling as she laid there in the soft grass but something crossed her mind about why Iku was acting like this.

he stopped whenn he caught site of the children. "i seriously need to calm diown," he says to himself and heads back, getting lost for a few minutes, and then finding another puddle of water. "that'll work," he says to himself and lays down in it.

"Iku...." She felt her body going numb as she couldn't move but she could breath. Now her voice was gone as her vision was going dark by the time she was lifted up from the ground. She felt fur then nothing as she hovered for a few moment. The sound of horses nickering reached her ears then what she heard next made her heart skip a beat. The sound of money exchanging hands. The rattling sensation told her she was in a wagon and she was traveling at a fast rate.

"iku..." he wakes up with a start, insantly taking off in the direction that the water had told him. "no way," he says to himself as the muddied water clings to his hair. his breathing shallows as he begins to get fatigued, catching the glimps of a wagon and the alpha male walking back to the village with a new finely crafted gold pouch. iku opens up four of the filled vials and the water from each covers his hands and feet, then lifting him and speeding him across the prairie to the wagon. i'm not letting you down tia, he thinks to himself, hoping that she's alright.

The feeling of fingers poking into her pressure points broughther back. Blinking several times as she looked at the weaken cat girls and some small wolf males. Sore as she could barely move now. Looking up as she saw a blur with a weaken smile she closed her eyes.

"incapacitate," iku says to himself, parts of water from his feet and hands slice into his backpack, breaking open a jug of water that he carries in case of an emergency. the water spills out and then sweeps low to the ground, picking up pace with the carraige and slicing through the wheels bottom half, causing it to topple over and stop as it skids. the water that sclied through the wheels loops around and catches the wagon before it can flip, but can't stop it from skidding down the road.

She felt herself hitting the ground hard but the back of the wagon caught her and dragged her across the hard surface. A few other would be slaves were either wounded or killed by Iku's actions. When the wagon came to a stop no one moved as they were filled with pain.

iku quickly lands and the water shoots around the wagon to open it up and iku could be heard yelling at the slave driver. "you've messed with the wrong aquan today!" he yells while holding the collar of the driver's shirt. from where he's standing a few of the slaves could probably see the musket laying on the ground and iku holding his dagger.
"what are you talking about? you can't kill me or you'll be exiled from your own race," the driver laughs back.
"why do you think i'm on dry land already," iku grins with the definate signature of the aquan tounge coursing through his words. the driver suddenly pulls away and grovels at the ground.
"please spare me!" he cries out as iku picks up the musket and walks into the side of the wagon, opening the door in the back.
"the slaves who you've driven will decide for you," iku says and spots tia, quickly untieing her and lending the water to help sooth the definate looks of pain on the other slaves who were captured. "sorry for the rough stop, i'm just impatient when it comes to taking out a slave driver." he apologizes to the slaves while unlocking them from the sides and taking their bindings from their ankles and wrists.

She laid there as her shoulder was torn open but the slaves went to the slave driver and dragged him off. His screams of pain filled the air; Tia tried to push herself up but fell to the ground in pain.

"Iku....Help..." She reached out for him with her free not wounded hand.

he squats down near her and can already see her wound beginning to heal itself quickly. "i'm here for you," he says and helps her pain by putting a dose of medicine in a slab of water before wrapping it around her shoulder, letting the medicine be ingested directly into the veins.

Wincing when she felt something pop back into place but the after affect felt nice. Sighing she grabbed onto his hand and slipped into his arms. She couldn't help but to hide her face into his chest.

"it's going to be alright," he says to her and pets her head. "it's going to be alright." iku looks up and sees one of the slaves looking at them, but ignores her to pay his attention to tia.

"Lets get out of here, Iku...." She looked up at him as she got to her feet. Stretching her limbs she grabbed her things the driver took and looked around seeing that one slave looking at them. "I don't feel safe here anymore."
